Ulmus pumila		 Cankers, Botryodiploida and other species Slightly sunken reddish brown to black cankers form on twigs and small branches. Leaves turn bright yellow and remain attached to the branches for several weeks. Provide good growing conditions. Avoid mechanical damage. Remove dead limbs.
